Text-/ bildbezogene Digital Humanities (Topoi Plus-3)

Within this Digital Humanities project different digital methods for text- and image-based research and publication were tested or further developed respectively.

The project encompassed the following sub-projects:

• Conversion of the datasets of the database Inscriptiones Christianae Graecae (Ciliers Breytenbach) into TEI/EpiDoc XML; compilation of indices of personal names, divine names and designations, group designations, place names, and symbols (Daniel Werning, L. Uhlig, F. Rautenberg).
• Further development of the Egyptian text/image-database CaeMmCom: Corpus of Ancient Egyptian Multimodal Communication (Silvia Kutscher, Rebecca Döhl, Daniel Werning, Nele vom Hagen)
